AIUM Cardiac Screening Examination of the Fetus
This page will help you install the AIUM Cardiac Screening Examination of the Fetus multimedia tutorial which uses the Blue Mango Learning System. These tutorials are based upon the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) document entitled, "Performance of the Basic Fetal Cardiac Ultrasound Examination".
This program was created by the Fetal Echocardiography Special Interest Group from the AIUM. The program is a work in progress. We would appreciate any comments or suggestions regarding the program. They can be sent to aium at bluemangolearning dot com. The program is in the process of being reviewed by the AIUM for future distribution to its membership.

Step 1: Download Apple QuickTime 7
QuickTime 7 is required to playback the high quality H.264 videos in these tutorials. If you don't have QuickTime 7 installed:
- Download Apple QuickTime (Do not install yet)
Step 2: Download Multimedia Tutorials
Step 3: Install QuickTime 7
Run the installer that you downloaded in step 1.
Step 4: Install Multimedia Tutorials
Run the installer that you downloaded in step 2.
Step 5: Check for Subscription Updates
You will now have installed the Blue Mango Learning System with a Subscription to the AIUM Cardiac Screening of the Fetus tutorials. these will be updated periodically. To check for updates select Check for Subscription Updates from the Help menu.
Update Instructions
The April 24th, 2006 Updater for the AIUM Cardiac Screening Examination of the Fetus tutorials is now available.
If you are not able to use the BMLS automated updater by selecting Check for Subscription Updates from the Help menu because your computer is located behind certain types of firewalls (common in large corporations or hospitals) then you may need to download updates from this website.
