Perhaps use a tree menu on the left, with the top of the tree being the manuals and subsequent branches of the tree being the lessons? Then the main area is just for lessons and you can more easily navigate around your manual as the full extent is always visible on the left? I not really fond of the open lesson and then "Back to Library" thingy, just an idea, I like the new scheme apart from that.

Will we have stuff like version numbers and linking across lessons?

Having sub-steps and conditional branching would be really helpful. Any chance of including that logic?

Otherwise, it's a really good system. We are loving it. So are our customers!

I like the new look much better, it draws the eye to where the work needs to be done the majority of the time. The current interface isn't bad, but this is much better.

David-
Thanks for the feedback. The reason we have gone with the darker colors on the sidebar and toolbar is to create more contrast between those areas and the content editing area.

My comment is that I prefer the previous lighter color tones versus the new black color theme. I like the existing blue and grey just fine, I think that the new darker colors are a little bit gloomy in overall tone. Just my opinion - other people may have their own ideas.

This appears to be much more MAC-like and pleasing to the eye. Conformance to modern design will improve the perception and make it subtly easier to use.

I'm liking it.

Thanks for the suggestion Sandra. It is something we are considering for a future version.

Hello,

I would like to say that this piece of software has been great for creating step by step instructions. There is one request, I apologize in advance if you've already done it, and that is the ability to have two windows open at the same time.

Quite often I will be creating new instructions based on lessons I have created before and it would make life a lot easier if you could see both new and old lessons windows together.

With thanks,
Sandra
