Fixes: * Edit field obtains focus when switching to another application and then returning to ScreenSteps. * Sometimes step instructions would be blank if the step appeared after a page break when exporting to PDF. * Characters such as "..." and curly quotes now export properly in PDF and HTML. * PDF exporter no longer terminates if the first line of the instructions of the first step is a return character. * Exported PDF files no longer repeat the last character on a line when wrapping long strings. * When opening packages multiple times, images were not always displaying. * If the folder that was previously exported to had been deleted and the user attempted to export using the previous settings (holding down Command/Control) the export would fail. * On Windows ScreenSteps would not properly quit the first time it was launched on a computer. This required quitting the process from the Windows Task Manager in order to relaunch ScreenSteps. * On Windows it was possible for an error to occur and a dialog to display during the screen capture process. The program window would fail to reappear in this case and you could not relaunch the application without quitting the process from the Windows Task Manager. * On Windows you can now capture screenshots from a monitor other than the one the application is on. * No more strange bluish graphics in main program window when running on an Intel Mac with Leopard installed. * Exporting images with alpha channels no longer produces a blue background around the edges. This would happen when exporting screenshots of windows on Leopard. * Exporting a project as PDF, performing a save as and then changing the project title now updates the default name when exporting the new project as PDF. * Performing a "Save As" operation on a saved project was moving the media files from the original project to the new project. The files are now copied. * If you copy a step to the clipboard you can no longer paste it while editing text. * The Apple Logo will now export correctly when exporting HTML on OS X. Changes: * Image Editor now opens the selected step image if it is opened and no image is currently loaded. * Exporting an image from the Image Editor now remembers the last folder you exported to. Version 1.1.1 6/25/2007 Fixes: * Depending on when ScreenSteps polled the system clipboard, QuickTime on OS X wasn't always reporting that the clipboard had an image on it when copying frames from movies. A workaround has been implemented. * The "Open last opened project" preference was not working. * Some Swedish characters were being converted to lower case on export. * On Mac OS X if you closed the ScreenSteps lesson window and then tried to create a new lesson using the File menu nothing would happen. This was due to the fact that the screen capture utility is missing some features available in 10.4. This has been fixed but note that on 10.3 if you use the built-in screen capture that your clipboard contents will be modified. On 10.4 the clipboard is not modified. Changes: * Copying steps now makes a copy of the step image as well. * The Image Editor no longer prompts you to save changes. This was done to remove interruptions to the workflow. * Packages now are automatically unpacked to a temporary directory. You are only prompted for a location if you want to save the package. * The default html template has been updated so that you can link directly to steps within a lesson (e.g. http://mydomain.com/mylessson.html?#step_5 would link to step 5).
